The Promise
You and your attendees retain 100% copyright and ownership of every photo and video. We will never sell your personal data or private media to third-party advertisers.
Attendees are never required to install an app, create an account, or share personal phone numbers to participate. Everything opens instantly in the mobile browser in seconds.
We adhere to strict global data protection standards (India DPDP 2023, GDPR Art. 9, CCPA) with instant 1-click biometric face search data erasure anytime.
Your memories are yours to keep. Hosts can download and export their complete celebration gallery archive anytime during their active storage vault.
1. How It Works: Built for Zero Friction
We designed the platform so that your guests and attendees can start capturing and discovering moments within seconds of arriving:
- For Guests & Attendees: Attendees are never required to install an app, create a password, or share personal contact details to participate. Everything opens directly in the mobile browser, with optional guest profiles available for those who wish to save and curate their cross-celebration memory timeline.
- For Hosts & Organizers: Your event pass provides a dedicated digital gallery, AI face discovery in seconds, and an extended cloud storage vault. Depending on your chosen tier, your pass may also include live venue projection walls and multi-session sub-event timeline routing.
2. Fair Sharing, Anomaly Safeguards & Stability
Every gathering has its own unique rhythm, and we want to provide generous, uninterrupted media collection throughout your festivities:
One Event Itinerary, One Pass
Each pass is provisioned for a single, designated celebration, wedding, or corporate gathering (including all its scheduled sub-events, ceremonies, breakout sessions, and evening galas). Passes may be purchased as a gift; once setup is finalized for that gathering, the pass is dedicated exclusively to that event.
Automated Anomaly Detection & Stability Safeguards
We employ automated ingestion velocity monitoring and concurrency anomaly detection algorithms to protect live gallery stability against automated bots, accidental stream loops, or significant gathering scale misclassifications (such as ticketed commercial arena concerts or multi-city tours operating under a private consumer pass).
Operational Ingestion Pause & Reconciliation
If anomalous ingestion thresholds are triggered, our systems may temporarily pause active live camera ingestion during the event to preserve infrastructure integrity. Following the event, hosts may easily unlock and export their complete full-resolution archive by reconciling the standard tariff difference corresponding to their actual event scale. Unreconciled files are preserved safely for 15 calendar days before scheduled de-allocation.
3. Changes, Upgrades & Plan Downgrades
Lock in Your Celebration Early (365-Day Activation Window)
We know you may wish to secure your celebration pass and lock in your vanity URL early, even before your final itinerary or venue dates are set. Every celebration pass remains active and ready for scheduling anytime within 12 full months (365 days) from your purchase date.
Plan Upgrades & Retained Courtesy Savings
If your attendee count grows and you decide to upgrade to a higher tier, you can upgrade with 1 tap. If you purchased your original pass under a promotional courtesy privilege, our upgrade engine applies your prior payment directly toward the upgrade while prorating promotional savings on higher tiers.
Pre-Event Downgrades
If your event scale becomes more intimate before the live date, you may request a plan downgrade. The price difference will be refunded to your original payment method minus a nominal administrative adjustment fee (10% of the difference, capped at a maximum of ₹300 / $6). Downgrades are locked once live uploads commence. For complete cancellation and refund terms, please see Section 10 below.
4. Cloud Storage Vault & Archival Lifecycle
We securely preserve your event media in accordance with your chosen plan's Storage Vault duration:
Expiration Reminders: We notify hosts before vault expiry, so there is always time to review and download your memories.
Vault Extensions: Hosts may request a cloud storage extension anytime before expiration; duration and terms are confirmed with you at the time.
Permanent De-Allocation: Upon expiration of the active storage period (in the absence of an active extension), media is permanently purged across our cloud clusters. Due to irreversible cryptographic de-provisioning, we have zero technical ability to restore expired media once purged.
5. Privacy, Biometrics & Sacred Trust
Platform Intelligence & Privacy
We will never sell, rent, or broker your personal data or private photos to third-party advertisers or data brokers. You grant us the right to process de-identified, aggregated media characteristics and system interactions solely to maintain, secure, and improve our platform features, curation algorithms, and proprietary intelligence models.
Private AI Face Search
When attendees use our Find Me feature, their temporary selfie is used solely to match photos they appear in within that specific event gallery.
1-Click Right to Erasure
Any attendee can tap "Delete My Face Data" inside the gallery at any time, and their selfie and facial search vectors are permanently erased from our system immediately.
Anonymous Telemetry
We use anonymous device tokens solely to prevent duplicate attendee counting and provide the host with accurate attendance and engagement metrics.
6. Media Ownership, Venue Stationery & Complete Liability Shield
Content Ownership, Custodian Archive & Attribution
You and your contributing attendees retain full copyright and ownership of the original media you capture. When uploading media to the platform, you grant us a limited technical license to host, optimize, and stream your media to your event attendees. Hosts receive full custodian access to download the pristine master resolution archive of their celebration. Media viewed, exported, or downloaded by attendees through our services may incorporate our discreet SlingMark™ luxury digital signature as an integral output of the platform.
Venue Stationery & Host Permissions
The host or organizer manages the physical display of QR stationery at their event venue. We provide the digital platform and camera access for attendees who scan the event code.
Community Safety & Intermediary Immunity
Uploading unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, sexually explicit, or infringing content is strictly prohibited. We operate as a neutral digital technology intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000, Section 230 of the CDA, and the EU Digital Services Act. We do not pre-screen or author user-submitted media. Under no circumstances shall we or our creators be held liable for user-uploaded content. Organizers agree to hold harmless and indemnify us against any claims arising from user-uploaded media.
Moderation & Takedown
Both the organizer (via the Host Dashboard) and we reserve the right to immediately hide or delete any reported violating content.
7. Reliability, Network Sync & Limitation of Liability
Global Cloud Infrastructure
The platform runs on globally distributed tier-1 cloud and edge networks (including but not limited to Cloudflare and AWS infrastructure) designed for high-availability performance.
Network Connectivity & Cloud Sync
The platform is architected to perform smoothly even in low-reception heritage venues. Captured media syncs to the cloud gallery when network connectivity is available. We are not liable for media that cannot sync due to sustained device disconnection, device data clearing, or device power loss prior to internet access.
Pre-Event Venue Testing
We encourage organizers to test their venue’s Wi-Fi and mobile reception in advance using our complimentary Taste Plan.
Service Adjustments & Liability Cap
In the rare event of an extensive core platform service interruption during an active event verified by system logs, we may, at our sole discretion, issue an appropriate service credit or fee adjustment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total cumulative legal liability for any claim shall be strictly capped at the amount actually paid by the host for the event pass, with all indirect, special, or consequential damages explicitly disclaimed.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in New Delhi, India.
9. Digital Delivery & Instant Service Fulfillment
The platform operates as an instantaneous cloud-based celebration collective, digital archive, and computational photography suite. All core services are delivered digitally with zero shipping transit times:
Instant Event Studio Provisioning
Upon successful payment authorization, your private celebration space, dedicated digital gallery, and Host Studio management dashboard are provisioned immediately (within seconds). You will receive an instant digital confirmation and direct access link via email.
Print-Ready Vector QR Table Kits
Print-ready 300 DPI vector PDF table tents, square mini-standees, and entrance easel posters are generated dynamically in the Host Studio for immediate download. Organizers may print these on their preferred stationery cardstock with zero physical delivery wait.
Live Media Ingestion & Streaming
Attendee photo uploads, real-time love reactions, and Live Stage Projection Wall streaming are delivered over high-speed edge networks in near real-time during your active celebration hours.
Digital Keepsake Exports & Physical Books
Beat-synced highlight reels and editorial coffee table book digital layouts are curated and exported in-browser as pristine digital files. For customized hardcover physical coffee table book printing availed through certified print partners, physical production and air courier delivery timelines are typically 7–14 business days, complete with doorstep tracking.
10. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We stand behind life's greatest gatherings with generous hospitality and transparent consumer guarantees:
full refund within 14 days if the event has not gone live; full credit to a new date if the event is cancelled or postponed; no refund once the event is live.
14-Day Pre-Event Refund Guarantee
Hosts and event organizers are entitled to a full refund within 14 days if the event has not gone live. If you decide not to proceed with us before your event is activated, simply notify us within 14 days of purchase. Approved refunds are initiated immediately and credited back to your original payment method (UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking) within 5 to 7 business days.
Postponement & Cancellation Date Credits
We understand that weddings, celebrations, and schedules change. There is full credit to a new date if the event is cancelled or postponed prior to active live ingestion. Your celebration pass, dedicated vanity handle (@slug), guest allocations, and configured itineraries will transfer seamlessly to your rescheduled date with zero penalty or re-booking fees.
Active Celebration Terms
Because computational vision clusters, facial indexing vectors, and dedicated cloud storage namespaces are provisioned and utilized in real time, there is no refund once the event is live. In the unlikely event of verified core platform downtime during an active gathering, we will issue an appropriate prorated service credit upon technical review.
How to Request a Cancellation, Refund, or Date Transfer
To request a refund or date credit, simply email hello@sling.photo with your celebration name, vanity handle (@slug), and payment transaction reference. Our concierge team will review and process your request within 24 hours.
Purchases made under a special offer carry the cancellation terms stated on that offer page.
